Our Story
Handcrafted Cupolas, Built Around Real Buildings
Creative Cupolas is an owner-led workshop in Brogue, Pennsylvania, building cupolas and weathervanes one roof at a time — for homes, barns, garages, and one-of-a-kind architectural projects.
A Cupola Should Look Like It Belongs
A cupola is the last thing most people notice on a building, but it’s often the detail that makes the whole roofline feel finished. For more than twenty years, Creative Cupolas has focused on that finishing work — proportion, materials, and the quiet details that help a cupola look like it was always meant to be there.

Built Around Craftsmanship
Materials, Proportions, and Finishing Details
The difference between a cupola that looks right and one that simply sits on a roof comes down to the details — the roof profile, the way the body meets the base, the copper, the windows or louvers, and how the whole form relates to the building beneath it. We build with those details in mind from the first cut.
Meet the Owner
John Zook
Creative Cupolas is owner-led. John Zook owns the company and stays closely connected to the work, the customers, and the direction of every project. From the first conversation to the finished roofline, the same hands and eyes that guide the shop are the ones behind your cupola. When you call, you’re speaking with the people responsible for the work — not an anonymous counter.
